Question about English Words with a French Origin

Here are some English words that have a French origin. Do they have the same meaning and usage as in French?

laissez-faire (In English, this means a policy or attitude of allowing things to take their own course without interference.)

impasse (In English, this refers to a situation where no progress is possible especially because of disagreement.)

de rigueur (In English, this means required by etiquette or current fashion.)

carte blanche (In English, this means the complete freedom to act as one wishes.)
