Anyone here on Italki is from Minsk, Belarus? Isthere a double price system common in Minsk or Belarus in general? I think some language schools are charging drastically different prices for different nationalities. Comment from anyone who has been there?
How much does an average Belarussian family spend on housing per month? Charging students 400 euro per month for a room in a host family is ridiculous, considering the average monthly income is only about 300 euro month in Minsk (according to wiki at least).
I'm planning on going over there for a summer to improve my Russian and if anyone is interested in making friends please contact me!

And don't worry, if the prices are different for different nationalities, then the highest ones will be for Americans and Europeans :D
150 dollars for a room is considered to be quite a lot, as I know (an apartment can cost 400, yes). But since I don't live in Minsk and only rent rooms there periodically, it seems really overpriced to me.
