Can love produce empathy and understanding between different cultures and nations?

I see love different and uncontrollable feelings. When it comes the person will ignore any differences, even the spoken language among both of the lovers. Both of them need to spend all the time with her/his partner, however they may have different languages and cultures. Aftera while they tend to learn the other language to perfectly communicate with his/her partner.

I am absolutely convinced that love (and consequently, empathy and compassion) is the very essence of life, so yes, it can :-)

Of course, love can end it all. Morover, there are other things that can produce empathy and understanding between different cultures and nations.
