A thread about Britain was posted recently and i started to wonder how many people here know any British slang .
Just like accents you don't have to travel very far for the slang to change drastically in the Uk .
For example , in my hometown if someone asks you if you would like a "Spoggy" they are asking you if you would like a piece of chewing gum . If you travel 30 minutes north then people have not heard of this word(at least in my experience when i was there) . If you travel 30 minutes southwest of my town then the word "Spoggy" is used as slang for giving someone a ride on the back of your pushbike.
So people if Italki ,Lets hear your UK slang .

I heard of "Bob's your uncle" a few years ago and it always makes me laugh ;)
I think it means something like "and everything will be ok", or "here you go". I know the story behind it, still I find it very funny :D
Yo blood - Hello my brother/best friend.
Dodgy - Something illegal
Taking the p(piss)- taking advantage of a situation, being sarcastic.
Sod it- I can not be bothered.
I am Skint - To have no money
ear bashing - Being angrily told off until your ears hurt
