Japanese: What is the meaning of "もの" in "ものです", "ですもの", "だもんっね" ?

I hear this occasionally in dramas, and I have had trouble finding a good resource online explaining this.

Thank you in advance!

もの originally means a thing.
However, as Amano-san wrote, it has many meanings and usages.
So, I will explain some of them.

・express accepted thinking with strong emotion.

Babies are meant to cry.

・express strong feelings or admiration, often when comparing something between now and before.

This town has gotten convenient now.

describes a reason, often used to insist on the legitimacy.
Often used by young women or children.
Often used with だって by children when they talk back.

Why don't you eat a carrot?
Because a carrot is not delicious.

Do you go to Tokyo again?
Because my friend says she wants to go to the Sky Tree.

I hopes this helps you a bit.

もの has wide range of meanings, though, I would say, regarding your concern,  that is a kind of filler.
