Mini group sessions on italki
Is it allowed to take group lessons here on italki? What do you think about that?! Is it a good idea for learning and sharing fees?

Some teachers offer group lessons, but I don't. I think 1-to-1 lessons are more effective, as they can be personalised and reflect exactly what you want or need. Group lessons are good if you want to gain confidence in public speaking and improve your listening skills. It could be difficult though to find a time slot that works for everyone in the group..

I have never had a conversation with more than one person at the same time and I am afraid that the quality sound would not be ideal (my internet is quite "poor" sometimes). On the other hand, is not it difficult to have a conversation with more than two people not seeing each other?
It is true that the price might be affordable for more people, who such as myself can not spend too much money in something that it is not necessary (I am learning English for pleasure). So, I would be glad if someone told us the experience of being taught in small groups on Skype.

Thank you Mona for your oppinion. I agree with the oppinion of the teacher Mona, it's obviously better and more effective way to learn one-to-one. But it requires to have a lot of money because in order to benefit from that it requires a very good teacher who is usually expensive enough. I 've definitevely learnt much more in this way. That's why I am here. But not all teachers can take account of the student's needs and personalise their lessons. Many of them only provide the same lessons for each student.
