'Wired' can also refer to devices, such as a laptop or machine, that must be plugged into an outlet for power.

Do you mean, for example, "I am so wired!"? If so, this means that you are have a lot of energy. For example, if you drink too much coffee and feel shaky from all the caffeine, you could say, "I am wired!". Does that make sense?
