Oh my worst experience :)

It was exactly last year, me and my friends went to a part of south of Iran which had many palm trees, I like the palm trees and I wanted to experience it...I told to my friends I want to climb palm tree...they told me you have nothing it is danger but I told them, don't worry I can...The palm was very high and I climbed it...Suddenly, a part of wood of palm tree was unstable and  broke (it was under my feet) then I felt with much force and my right foot was in bad state and whole of my weight on it....my pressure reached to lowest state and the worst thing was ligament of my ankle damaged badly...After, took me to hospital and my pressure was near to coma...Then I was on wheelchair for first time and in airport I was on lifter for reaching to airplane...It was my first time that I was on lifter (I was on wheelchair and I couldn't use stairs to go there)...On the lifter there was a man on wheelchair who had no feet!! when I arrived Tehran and my mom saw me she fainted because she thought I couldn't walk anymore when she saw me on wheelchair ...for 3 months I couldn't walk good and It was in bad time (I should work on my thesis)....also ligament damage is worse than fracture and needs more time...and all of these experiments were because of I wanted to climb palm tree and experience it!!!:)

LOL Jerry, you made me ROFL:D Now, I think as that brave cat saved you, so you must have remembered his name, was he Tom?:) By the way, you explained it with a good logic:)

In my case, I can't count how many times I've climbed trees! But definitely, many a time for sure. The trees I often climbed when I was a kid, were Mango tree and Guava tree. Lying on the Branch, eating Guava as much as I could, was really an awesome experience that I can't forget. When I was happy it was the place where I could find myself above the ground, as well as when I was sad, it was the place where I could find some peace of mind. I was a naughty kid and often messed up with things, that's why I was often told off by my father and the very next step after my mood went off, was to rush to that Guava tree, climb to the top within 5-6 seconds and sat on my favourite branch, of course, shedding some tears:)

I fell down not once from the Guava tree but yes, I fell down thrice from the Mango tree we had in our garden, but I was lucky as gravity was very humble towards me :)

If I will get a chance, then definitely I will climb again:)

Yes, I did climb trees and garage roofs when I was a kid. Why? All kids do this. I think I had a good childhood :)

I last climbed one when I realized that I could fall out of it and die. Luckily, a cat rescued me.

My grandmother had a beautiful Magnolia tree that I used to climb in the summer when I was a kid.  It smelled so good, with it's big white flowers in bloom.      I think that was the last time I actually climbed a tree.    I never really think about climbing trees much.   I do think though, that the tree was so happy to have me climbing on it and appreciating it's natural beauty,  but sometimes it would get very ticklish.   When the branches and the leaves would move around with the wind, was that it's laughter?
