Hi, there
Could you help me with a few questions about vocabulary? Please
1) What does strut over mean here? "After airing for years on Logo, "RuPaul's Drag Race" struts over to VH1 for Season 9"
2) On a webiste, I came across this: "The Chartered Financial Analyst Program (CFA®) , administered by the CFA® Institute, offers a graduate-level curriculum and examination program designed to expand your working knowledge and practical skills related to investment decision-making... Now you may have an approach to treat CFA level 1 exam to clear. We urge you not to do that. "
What does " graduate-level curriculum and examination program" mean? What about "have an approach to treat CFA level 1 exam to clear"?
Thank you very much for everything!
Hi Gabriel,
I can answer your other question.
"Graduate-level curriculum and examination program" means that the material that is taught in this program is appropriate for people who have already have some background in it. Graduate-level literally means that a student has already studied this subject for 4 years and received an undergraduate degree and that they would be doing this program to continue their studies. The reference to the examination part is just referring to the fact that students will be evaluated (or tested) at this same advanced level.
It's hard to know what "have an approach to treat CFA level 1 exam to clear" means without a little more context. I'm happy to respond again if you are able to provide a little more context.
Best,
Emma
Hi Gabriel,
I'm just going to tackle your first question ( I'm lazy, sorry lol). "strut" in they way that they are using it, means "walks proudly". This is just a weird way of saying that the show moved from one time station to another. Hope this helps!
