To save both you and your teacher’s time, be clear on what you want to get out of your lessons to enrich your business English. If possible, have some non-confidential business material prepared for your lesson so that your teacher can go through with you tailored instructions on how to reply to such materials.

Thanks a lot. I've found here many useful suggestions that I'll certainly put into practice. First of all, providing my teacher with my business material. It's a very good idea!

A very helpful read, it´s good to know what one is looking for before the start! Gets much easier to advance if you know where you want to go and communicate it to the teacher.
