Male 'bimbo' ?
Bimbo : such an innocuous word in the original Italian, transmogrified on its adoption in to English, where it is now a derogatory reference to a good-looking girl with 'not a lot up top'. A perusal of images on Google [for the Italian version in Notebook] suggests that she is always a blonde !
The mistress of a former British politician [successfully, I believe] sued a national newspaper for defamation by 'bracketing her with bimbos'.
In the interest of gender equality, what should we call her male counterpart ?
