Non c'è piu trippa per gatti
Il modo di dire 'non c'è piu trippa per gatti' comme si traducce in inglese?
"There is not anymore tripe for cats?"
O "the cats have no more tripe"?

Ho letto una storia divertente sull’origine di questa espressione. sembra che all’inizio del Novecento un nuovo sindaco eletto a Roma scoprì che nel preventivo delle spese pubbliche del comune era elencato perfino un presunto servizio reso ai gatti. Si pretendeva fornir loro trippe da mangiare! Il sindaco che voleva risanare il bilancio del comune abolì questo servizio.

Non c'è trippa per gatti means that there is no longer any chance to gain or obtain something.
The closest English equivalent could be:
"there's no cheese down that tunnel"
"There isn't a snowball's chance in hell"
"This pond is all fished out"

A meno di pronta smentita dubito esista una versione inglese di quel detto. Non letterale intendo

Literally that would be
there is no more tripe for cats
But I think it is probably an Italian proverb, and has a better translation in English
When do you use the phrase? Is it used to describe a problem that is suddenly bigger than before?
