Camiseta vs. Camisinha A friend of mine walked into a clothing store in Brazil and asked where the " Camisinha " were. He meant t-shirts, but used the wrong word in Portuguese .

Um amigo meu entrou em uma loja de roupas no Brasil e perguntou onde estava a " Camisinha " . Ele quis dizer " T-shirts " mas usou a palavra errada em português.

What is the difference between " Camiseta " and " Camisinha " ?

I would greatly appreciate it if you kindly give me examples so as to understand and learn how to use these words in sentences.

o que é a diferença entre "Camiseta" e "Camisinha"? gostaria muito apreciar se você por favor, me dar exemplos, a fim de compreender e aprender a usar estas palavras frases.

Camisinha aqui no Brasil é o que nós usamos no ato sexual, Ou seja o preservativo masculino, já camiseta, é uma roupa comum uma t-shirt. Espero ter ajudado...

You might be a little bit confused by the long explaination above.
Let me try to explain in more simple English.
Camisinha means condoms.
Camisa means shirt.

I think you understood the difference between those 2 words, then I won't rewrite thar here but I'll let here some examples as you ask, okay?

Camisinha:
1. A couple is gonna have sex and one of them ask: where is the preservative? (onde está a camisinha?)
2. It's highly recommend the people use the preservative to cover themselves during a sex relationship.
(É altamente recomendado que as pessoas utilizem preservativo para se protegerem durante a relação sexual)

I mean... when we are talking about a male preservative, we are actually talking camisinha.

Camiseta:
1. Nossa! Essa camiseta ficou ótima em você! (Talking about clothes here)
2. I was wondering and... I concluded that I will buy the M size t-shirt instead of the G size. (Eu estava pensando em... eu conclui que vou comprar a "camiseta" M invés da G.
