It's the last day of work for me...and I'm not coming back So I recently accepted a job at a charter school in North Carolina.  It's a good change for me as it has more resources for teachers and there is a lot more parental involvement at this school.  At the middle school I currently work at, there are some serious issues that have been addressed in the past but it's like a constant circle of issues that repeats and repeats.  It's only broken up by the amount of people who decide they have had enough and they leave.  Because I will not be here at the middle school, my principal said to me that I am required to come to the middle school building because it is in my contract.  I didn't have a problem with that at all since I understood that it was part of my contract.  The only problem is the amount of boredom that is just weighing on me like a 50 pound blanket.  There's nothing to do here, which is why I'm writing this.  I was looking up ideas for teaching at my new school for the first two hours, and now I'm just chilling.  I don't have to go to any Professional Development sessions since I will be leaving Virginia, and I'm stuck in this building until 3:45.  Bleh!
