Hi! I got my first student in the same day my profile was posted as a tutor. All I did was being online the whole time (even though I didn't have any classes booked for that day) and I replied messages as faster as I could. Oh, and I'm also starting with a lower price compared to other tutors. All the best!

Hi I have also recently joined italki, and I received some bookings in the same week I joined. I always try to respond quickly to messages, create individual lesson plans, and lowered my prices for now ... until I have few months of lessons, feedback and testimonials. All the best!

I got my first student in around 3-4 days. Start small with low prices but with a big attitude which means: over-deliver, be prepared and helps others in this community without expecting anything in return.
