I know, the title has the incorrect spelling for TONGUE! Apologies, I posted it before I realised the misspelling and now I can't edit the title!

One of the hardest tongue twisters is also one of the simplest:

Red lorry, yellow lorry

Try saying that fast a few times!

We have done that more than once I believe on italki on Richard's discussions.

We really had fun reading the tongue twisters he shared with us :D Here's the

Unfortunately I can't find the discussions I'm talking about because he has many

in his list. I would need to go through many of them to find the ones in question :D

To be frank and honest; Tongue twisters never help in improving pronunciation. This is the only tip that is of no avail. When I speak even native speakers cannot pronounce the words as I do. It is all about using handy dictionary installed on your smartphone having the pronunciation listening feature. Wow! It is awesome. You're on Bus, School, Office, etc. you look up the meaning of a word instantaneously on your smart phone's Dictionary and listening to both American and British pronunciation simultaneously.

Oh my goodness! So sorry, thankyou SuKi for pointing that out! Shows that I am only human and make mistakes also like many teachers do from time to time. Definitely didn't have my coffee at that point!

Oh really, is that your experience sandy boy? I have found tongue twisters have helped students with pronunciation of letters.
