Hi to everyone! Could someone explain me the difference between these 2 words?

I know that 感情 is more related to the bond which men create among themselves (friendships for example) while refers to their psychological status (happiness, sad). 

So why while I was reading my book did I come across into this sentence :   父爱是一种天然的情感。。。友谊是人一生不可缺少的情感。

Should not be used 感情？
