Thank you for your comments.
Most websites have an audio link (an image of an audio speaker) and we can hear the proper pronunciations by clicking on the speaker.
Thanks for the compliment, Richard. :)
I must confess that after I listened to your voice, I realized that I didn't know the correct pronunciations for two words: gyro and meme. I really appreciate your help. :)
Starry Night...
You really chose a good name to use on italki... starry night is a very nice name.
italki does not offer an app that allows us to make audio recordings, but that's not really a problem because we can use free online apps that will record our voices, save the recordings, and allow us to post the link to the website where the recordings are saved. One website, Vocaroo, also lets us save our recording as mp3s.
So, I made a recording of my Canadian pronunciation of the words:
This word has several pronunciations: gyro: [jahy-roh, jeer-oh, zheer-oh; Greek yee-raw]

Starry Night
You posted a few words that you say you have trouble pronouncing.
These words are not commonly used, so it may not be necessary to perfect their pronunciations.
Theologian (thee a low jen)
Circuitous (sir kyou i tus)
Cantankerous (can tank ker us)
Here are some words that I'm learning their pronunciation:
Theologian (I often forget the pronunciation for this word)
Circuitous
Cantankerous
I'll add more words later. :)
