Hi, Castadiva. I think what attracts people them more than other groups is because of the lyrics. The lyrics talk about hardships and issues.

The only reason I know of BTS is that I watched a Netflix documentary on it that I found very interesting. Apparently, they are very famous around the world. For anyone curious about K-pop, how it developed, and why it is popular around the world even among those who do not speak Korean, the Netflix documentary is one of the episodes of the show ¨Explained.¨ (In Spanish the documentary is called ¨En Pocas Palabras.¨ Like many Netflix shows, I believe the documentary may be in some other languages as well.)

I have heard that they are quite famous abroad in the US and in Europe (among people who
listen to K pop music - The ARMY). Heard about them on TV on a TV show that talked
briefly about them. However, their songs are not on TV neither at the radio where I live. I
listened to them, their songs are quite enjoyable but I don't understand what they say :)
I like their last song "Idol".

Honestly, I was surprised with their success all around the world. Even though I'm Korean, I don't have any information about them except for their success, and curious about the reason.
