Hi.
I want to learn meaning of the "leverage" as a verb. I've seen it some articles about programming but I don't understand exactly. Thanks.
Example: "Programmers can leverage to develop secure web applications."

As a verb, to leverage means to benefit through using a tool. Like, using a lever makes it easier to lift something heavy, then if you were to try to lift it by yourself.
... In the world of finance, leverage is the use of borrowed money to make an investment and the return on an investment.

Usually, one usually leverages something to make some other action occur....for example, "the basketball player leveraged his ability to shoot baskets in order to get a better salary"...think of a see-saw, or more technically a LEVER where you are using something on one side of the see-saw to make something else happen on the other...I hope it helps...
