Community TutorMaking a new site
If anyone wants to make a site like italki or like any other tutoring site
is it easy to be done by only one person or should collaborate with others?
i like this idea to make a site and anyone can learn or become a tutor easily

Samar, have you seen this?
https://www.italki.com/discussion/193105
During the previous crisis some people (mostly people you know) here gathered and decided to set an alternative forum, just in case.
Unfortunately I haven't registered there yet:(
Speaking of the site for tutors, look: if you have a popular youtube channel or facebook group, you will have people contacting you and asking if you give lessons.
Maha was quite a success and even starred in an episode of an Italian film. Perhaps what attracts students is her personality (and in some cases even looks) but well, a teacher must have a personality:)
But tell me, how this new site for tutors will be better than iTalki? What may it have (in the part of "lessons") that italki doesn't quite have? How it can be made better?

@Val
I think making money will be gained if the site takes a commission at least 20% from the transactions between the student and the tutor or maybe if we send some materials online

Val, an app, something like a game, that makes two inexperienced learners actually engage and continue language exchange.

I am Web developer and I interested in languages. In 2009 I had an idea to create a language exchange site. But I didn't found how to make money from it. Another problem is marketing. iTalki, probably, has millions of users. I have a blog on the internet without any followers. Do you have any idea that better then iTalki? Can it make money? Let's talk.

@K P
i agree with you !!!!! i am also not an expert
but i like to have a site on which we can help each other and for also tutors
so it should have a part for corrections and answers and the other part shoud be for tutors
and sure we can also offer materials for free so people can choose to book lessons with tutors or to use materials and the other free options
