Dristig Expression
Arabic Question. Please Help! What is the purpose of لء at the end of words?

The question is in regards to Arabic female markers like Ta maarbuta (ة) and Alif maqsura (ى).

I have come across a third end marker: لء.

When and how do we use the lam and hamza together at the end of words. I am new to this combination.

Your response is appreciated! Please explain in detail-I want to make sure I am not confused.

Hi , maybe you mean Alif+Hamza (ا+ء) like سماء / صحراء . You are right, both words are feminine but we can't consider it as a feminine marker because there are some other masculine words having same end like ذكاء / غباء / غناء

But in case of Adjectives  it is a real marker for feminine adjective like حمراء  / زرقاء / صماء  /
