Why didn't Versailles Palace Have Toilets? It was around 1682 that Louis XIV built a luxurious palace in Versailles and lived in this palace with the local lords. The number of people who lived in the palace was almost 5,000. However, the king did not think that it was impossible to put toilet, which is a lowly and dirty facility in such a beautiful palace, and did not make toilet which is most indispensible value in our daily life.

What do you think of this historical story? What can you imagine in the life scenes of Versailles?
