Career is very good. But if you have good career and no family what will you do, when you'll be alone? And when it's cold, career doesn't warm you as family. Family always helps us when we are in trouble..

I have seen both housewives, who are busy with cooking and gardening, and businesswomen, who are flying around the world and having tough negotiation with others, are having a high satisfaction of their living style.
Actually, no matter what way you choose to  balance these two options, something has to be sacrificed, whithout complaint. It depends on your value towards life.

I do believe that priority should be given to one's family. Though i do admit that there's nothing wrong with focusing on one's career and becoming a workaholic provided that you believe that it is for the best of your interests, it seems more imperative to me to take care my loved ones and one's family overrides his/her career. After all, our family will be there for us when we are all old and senile, while our career won't.

In my opinion both family and career are important.
The family is important because it give you the moral support to go on and on... withouth your familiy you can't take up a career... It's very difficult to improve your career if you're alone...
but then also a career is important because it give you the economic support to  live on one's own  and  consequently to start a family.
Byeeeee ;)
