Madina
Please correct my essay! Hi guys!

Let me introduce myself!

My name is Madina and I’m from Russia.

I was born in Dagestan republic- a region in southern Russia. It is a sunny place with beautiful landscapes (you can see it on the pictures) and warm Caspian sea.

Than when I was 16 I moved to Moscow for education. I graduated from Financial university and Law academy and than worked as a tax lawyer in the Russian tax services, also I worked as a lawyer in a big oil company and teach tax law in the Law academy.

Two years ago I’ve met my future husband. He is a military surgeon and serves on a nuclear submarine. So this is my way from the south to the north of Russia.

Now I’m 25 and I live in Severodvinsk (a White sea city (that is Nordic ocean) with my husband and 2 months babyboy.

Of course ten years ago I can’t even think that I’ll see typhoon class submarine and Nordic ocean outside my window!

But here we are. I live in the little north city and can’t work while my child isn’t 3 years old. So I decided to spend this time with benefits. I’m going to improve my English, to start learning French, to study 3d and graphic design and animation and to take an exchange trading courses.

This instagram blog (@fromsouth_tonorth) will be a part of my “English education”. I’ll write something interesting about my life or something else every day and will be grateful for correcting my errors!

However, here we are. *If you want to start a sentence with "but", then use "however". It is more professional/formal. I live in a little northern city, but cannot work because my child is not 3 years old yet.  *Can't=informal; cannot=formal. Isn't=informal; is not=formalTherefore, I have decided to spend this time productively*Therefore=formal; so=informal. I will try to improve my English, learn French, study 3D, graphic design and animation, and take exchange courses. *Will=sounds more firm/confident; formal. I'm going to=sounds informal/casual.

***Sorry, I had to post 3 separate comments. I had trouble with the word count/"characters remaining" in the box. Anywho, hope this helps a bit. Good luck and wish you and your family the best!

Hi, Madina. If you look below, you'll see corrections I made:

I was born in Dagestan Republic, a region in southern Russia. It is a sunny place with beautiful landscapes and the warm Caspian Sea, as you see in pictures*Did you mean the pictures when people search online?

When I was 16 I moved to Moscow for (my) education. I graduated from Financial University & Law Academy and worked as a tax lawyer in the Russian tax services and later as a lawyer in a big oil company. Currently, I teach tax law at Law Academy. *Teach=you are still teaching; taught=you don't teach anymore. Are you teaching at the Law Academy now?

1. I met my husband two years ago. *I've=(*informal); I have=(*formal); however, for this case you don't need "have". Future husband=you're engaged/about to get married. 2. Two years ago I met my future husband. --> Both 1 and 2 are okay; however, number 2 could have two meanings. He is a military surgeon and serves in a nuclear submarine So this is how I travel from north and south Russia.
