Hello everyone,
I find out a result about learning English or any language: there is a secret to catch the English context, but what is it?
all my friends learn English in a short time, and they speak many languages: French, Czech very well.
I practice a looooot,  listing and try to speak in the shadow of speakers.
But untill now no notable change.
Still stress when I try to speak, use a simple words,  and don't know why my brain too thick.
I'm not stupid,  because I'm a PHD student.

Please tell me what is that learning secret

I had to learn English by myself and something I found very useful was reading and listening to music. I used to write down the words of the songs I liked and with the help of a giant dictionary I would make the translation word by word. Eventually it came naturally to me. I knew more words and it was easier to fill in the gaps when I wanted to communicate. I did catch a lot of American expressions at first though.
