Hi, there


How do you say “We’ll have a class today”, “There will be a class today” in French? “Il y a de class aujourd'hui“?  “Il y a la classe aujourd’hui” or “Il y a classe aujourd’hui”?

“We’ll have a class today” = Nous aurons cours aujourd'hui 

There will be a class today = Il y aura cours aujourd'hui


It's just a proposition though.

Bonjour Gabriel,

En général, le mot 'classe' désigne a. un groupe d'étudiants ou b. un endroit. Mais jamais les cours.

Par exemple :

Une salle de classe. (b)

Il fait ses cours dans cette classe. (b)

Il est le meilleur élève dans sa classe. (a)
