Hi, I know a lot of people use the show 'friends' to learn English. It has 9 seasons. Apparently they watch it through with subtitles first, and then again without subtitles.

Also it's just a funny and enjoyable show.

Good luck :)

What the previous person said about using subtitles is a very good way to practice your English listening skills.

You have multiple options here:

(Ranked by level of difficulty)

1. Watch an episode with subtitles in your native language
2. Watch an episode with English subtitles
3. Watch an episode without any subtitles

I personally dislike the series named Friends. I don't hate it, but I don't really like any of the characters or care about their lives.

Different people have different preferences. But I strongly agree that sitcoms (such as Friends) are a good way to practice your English skills.

Here are some sitcoms that I like more than Friends:

Black Books
My Name is Earl (although it got really terrible after the first couple of seasons)
The Good Place
Fresh Meat
The I.T. Crowd
Peep Show
Stan Against Evil
The Orville

Some of those are British. Some are from the US.
