By plane or by air
I need to know which one I should use "by plane or by air" ?

Either way is fine. I would say that mail is sent by air and people travel by plane, but it really doesn't matter. Actually, when we travel by plane, we usually refer to it as "flying". Yes, in English, the same word that refers to birds is used to refer to plane travel.

if it's for travelling i think it's by plane :)
