I took a break from Chinese...now I don't know where to start.
Hi everyone!
I've been studying Mandarin Chinese for 7 years, since I was 10 years old. I have a very solid foundation in the language, and am currently B1 level. In 2018, I had no problem with conversations and expressing myself in the language, and I made studying a regular habit.
However, now, it's so hard for me to study because I feel stuck and I don't know where to begin. I took about a month break in January, and I've struggled to make studying regularly a habit again.
Right now, my plan of action is simply scheduling Italki lessons and practicing with my language partner. I find that the old materials I was using aren't working for me anymore.
Have you faced this problem? How did you overcome it? I'd love to know, please share some tips with me!
