Did you know that the scheme of thinking of Morrocan arabic comes from Tamazight ( Berber ) ?

For example to say  : "my head hurts because of the sun" in Moroccan Arabic we can say : "d-rbatni sh-shems l ضربتني الشمس",

And in Berber is : "Tut-yyi tafukt l توتيي تافوكت"

and it means literally : "the sun hit me" and we can not say this even in classical Arabic or in English :D  .

That's why the scheme of thinking of Morrocan arabic comes from Tamazight ( Berber ).

Maghrebi is a very interesting and original language because it comes from the ancien Phoenician since times before the Roman Empire, and after that with the strong influence of Arabic, Tamazight, French and Spanish. I think that all Moroccan people should be proud of their common national language.

/xizzu/, a Moroccan word for carrot is interesting in that no one knows where it came from.

Arabic dictionaries say it comes form Berber, because it is used in Morocco.
Berber linguists think that it can't be Berber because of /x/.

So, speaking of history of Moroccan, it is not just "Berber and Arabic".

This is a common expression in Arabic. In the Gulf dialect we say طقتني الشمس, which literally translates to “The sun hit me.” A heatstroke is called طقة شمس, i.e. hit of sun. In Standard Arabic it’s called ضربة شمس, which is the same thing: hit of sun.

i don't think so that it necessarily came from amazigh language , like these sentences are called idioms and all languages have  them
