Actually I was more sensitive to foods before and was a fussy eater - onions, mushrooms, green papers and other many vegetables were in my black list. And also some foods made me feel happy. I've lost some sense to smell or interest to foods, I guess. Or, maybe I've found more interesting things and don't have time for foods any more.
I don't consider myself a picky eater, at least these days. I used to be one. Back in the days, I had a long list of food that I don't like to eat, carrots, cabbage, fat back, beans.....But now I have learnt to appreciate and even fell in love with many of them. Therefore, I do believe the existence of the concept "acquired taste."
If I have to name one thing, then it has to be lamb. Sometimes it's too gamy for me. Yet it also depends on the way it's cooked. I am fine with thinly sliced lamb in the hot pot. Nonetheless, lamb chops are still a big no for me.
Actually, there isn't a food that I could keep on eating forever either. I like to eat different thing at different times. For example, I like to eat stew in the winter but not so much in the summer. Nevertheless, I do like my food to be fresh and seasonal.
