Undoubtedly, there are benefits and advantages to make your a LinkedIn profile seriously stood out from the crowd by creating a positive first impression on your LinkedIn summary. Therefore, I asked a several number of hiring managers that "What do you think is better, writing a LinkedIn summary in 1st person or 3rd person?" some of them said 1st person and the others said 3rd person. However, I am trying to be balanced between them, but I don't know what to do.
Your opinion matters to me! What do you think is better, writing a LinkedIn summary in 1st person, 3rd person, or do you have another idea?
Thank you, Ms. Casey
Yes, I did. Some of them wrote it in third person and others wrote it in the first person. Honestly, I prefer to write in the first person, but in the same time I don't want anyone to see me as a selfish person. However, if I wrote it in the third person, it will look like someone else wrote it for me. Either way, I may lose opportunities because it depends on the recruiters' perspectives. Therefore, I don't know what to do because right now, I am seeking for opportunity.
