Discussion about a LinkedIn summary; your opinion matters to me.

Undoubtedly, there are benefits and advantages to make your a LinkedIn profile seriously stood out from the crowd by creating a positive first impression on your LinkedIn summary. Therefore, I asked a several number of hiring managers that "What do you think is better, writing a LinkedIn summary in 1st person or 3rd person?" some of them said 1st person and the others said 3rd person. However, I am trying to be balanced between them, but I don't know what to do.

Your opinion matters to me! What do you think is better, writing a LinkedIn summary in 1st person, 3rd person, or do you have another idea?

I don’t know if I’m going to be much help but I always hear third person is more professional but I personally find it weird because no one actually talks about themselves in third person when speaking.  Have you looked at what others in your field of work do?

Thank you, Ms. Casey

Yes, I did. Some of them wrote it in third person and others wrote it in the first person. Honestly, I prefer to write in the first person, but in the same time I don't want anyone to see me as a selfish person. However, if I wrote it in the third person, it will look like someone else wrote it for me. Either way, I may lose opportunities because it depends on the recruiters' perspectives. Therefore, I don't know what to do because right now, I am seeking for opportunity.
