Smack and slap
what is difference between them?

In my region, a slap is to the face (usually an angry woman slapping a man knowing he won't slap back) and a smack is a slap on other parts of the body (usually an angry adult smacking the bottom of a child).
Smack has other meanings including a kiss and heroin.
