A rainbow!

When I think of someone who is universally beautiful or handsome I can say Keanu Reeves,not because of his looks but is rare to see a humble person in an industry like his.

Of course. I think that it's obvious from the people everyone admires for their physique, the architecture people photograph and the way people dress that there are some "core" universals with a few minor variations. For example, I have never met a girl who was considered beautiful in one country to be considered ugly in another. Everyone finds health, vitality and youth (and the accompanying physical traits) attractive. Few people are immune to the splendor of the mountains and the blue sea of tropical islands.

The talk of beauty being in the eye of the beholder is sentimental and intended to comfort those who can't accept they don't fit the ideal.

I believe in both. There are things and people that are considered "universally appealing". I can't think of a particular name as of this moment. I will get back to this thread once I think about the person.
