Professional TeacherHow do we avoid getting betrayed by people?
“Betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow” . This is especially true if it is done by someone we trust. However, betrayal happens only if we trust the wrong person or we give too much trust.
I am curious to know about your thoughts on how we can avoid “betrayal”. I mean, it would be awful to avoid people as a result, we will always be social beings so interaction and giving trust is something natural for us to do.

It is impossible to avoid betrayal, because it is not up to you control the actions of someone else. We can only control how we respond to that. It is like the saying "Fool me once it's your fault...fool me twice it's my fault.".

If I were to put it into a formula, that would be "betrayal is inversely proportional to credulity". It's not quite that simple but indicative.

As we live in this world and interact with people around us, we will taste the bitterness of betrayal.
I think that to avoid tasting betrayal more than several times is to avoid rushing in building a relationship.

@ Antonio Donizetti! There are people who can avoid betrayal and there are people who are more prone to betrayal.. Like what you said, we cannot control the actions of others but we can "influence" others to act a certain way. I have met people who have qualities that make them more prone to betrayal, it can be the qualities of being naive or too trusting.
