The mean of "لكل رسم معنى "
مرحبا بكم جميعا
I have a strange question. The online Arabic dictionary المعاني has a slogan which says "لكل رسم معنى ". Grammatically I understand it, but what exactly does it mean? I understand it as meaning something like, "Every mark/marking/trace, has a meaning".

The word رسم here refers to the spelling of a word. What this expression means is that each word is unique and has a specific meaning. It’s a common expression that refers to the eloquence of Arabic.

Ok, the meaning you gave is how I basically understood it. I used "trace, or mark" to translate رسم because I know رسم can also have the same meaning as أثر, which can mean "a trace, a mark, an imprint, etc.

رسم in English means ‘drawing’ which refers to the drawing of words. So “each drawing or a word has a meaning.’
I hope that helps. Al maany is a great dictionary.

Probably it shows the diversity and the difference between the Arabic words, to show that every single word is different from the others and it has it's own meaning.
( رسم ) here refers to the word and how it's written as you know some words are almost written the same way but with small differences, such as
(الكَلامُ,الكُلام ,والكِلامٌ)
To sum up it means that every word has a separated spelling and meaning ).
