Gossip girl or gossip boy? Who gossips more?
One of my favorite American TV drama is Gossip Girl. I love their fashion sense and the story is something that is interesting when I was younger. I was surprised with the ending you know because the title should change to "Gossip boy".

Then again, in REAL life situations, I once thought that women gossip more but when I had male friends, I would definitely say it's the men. The thing is I love the boys because I get FRESH news from them. LOL
(My opinion is subjective)

I fell asleep last night and I missed out on what happened last night. (Philippine time )I'd like to express my support for Alice. You know in this thread, people will like you or hate you. At the end of the day, what matters most is how we see ourselves. I love Alice discussions by the way, it might not be your cup of tea but it does not mean that it is useless to others.

It's a no-brainer, Florian ; many females must have a special area of their brain reserved for chismis [tsismis], while most males don't seem to have this capacity. I wonder whether there's an evolutionary explanation in cultural anthropology.

In case of misunderstanding, a 'no-brainer' is a question or proposal about which you really don't need to think much :
- 'Where shall we go on holiday - somewhere with a nice climate and no pollution - Beijing or Baguio ?'
- 'It's a no-brainer - it has to be Baguio !'

@Adrian I like that you mentioned Tsismis which is a Filipino term. Yes, I have met a lot of tsismosas in my life. Of course, we have our own opinions. It can be a no brainer but males can also be tsismosos. Okay, some parts of our brain have the tendency for that but not always..ha ha ha ha ha
