some of the expressions and slang I like
. 1-I hear ya: I understand what you are saying
for example: I hear ya brother I wish we could all live like that.
2-Period:. period at the end of the sentence means, the things said in the sentence are definite and no change is allowed. 
I am not going to do it, period.
3-Bummer: downer, party pooper
example: she was a real bummer .
4-Tell me about it: I understand what you mean, acknowledge an unpleasant situation or experience
Example:
A: I had a bad day
B: tell me about it.
5-Couch potato:A person who is inactive and watches a lot of TV.
I am no couch potato, I workout everyday
6-Screw up: make a mistake
Don't screw up, you are almost there
7-Don't quote me on that: a statement about which a person is not sure if it entirely correct or not
Example:hmm 1875 I guess, but don't quote me on that
8-Get hyped: ecstatic, jazzed, excited
I am so hyped for this concert.
9-Wicked: Excellent
Woa, that's wicked. I want to be there too.
10-Psyched: excited
Example: I a so psyched about tomorrow's game.
11-Train wreck: a mess, a chaotic or disastrous situation.
She was a train wreck back then but look at her now.
12-No shit Sherlock: a phrase that is used to express sarcasm towards someone who is stating the obvious.
I only wrote 3 lines in my essay, I am going to fail this one
