Conceiving children just to take care of them seems to me like a self-serving purpose. You’d be literally creating the need that you need to fulfill yourself. I find it strange that this is often considered a selfless act. It’s more selfless to take care of people who already need help, and there are many in this world. Even if you want children, there are millions of children who need a stable and loving home.

All this "I hope that you don't come to regret it" speech is so pointless... of course we can change our minds about it like every other decision in our lives, but guess what? We can't predict the future. I have met A LOT of people who regret having children and nobody seems concerned with that. I mean, what's the problem with just accept the one's choice?
