I always recommend Arabic learners to learn Levantine dialect as it is understood by the majority in Arab world.
But, I teach the Iraqi dialect on my Google classroom with this code azuto63
if anyone is interested, I welcome new students. Iraqi dialect contain expressions from both Khaliji and Levantine dialect. 😊

I am studying Standard Arabic. I cannot travel right now so I read mostly, and there is much more available to read in MSA. I will not get very good in a dialect without traveling, but hopefully I can get to a high level in Standard Arabic. It is also very old, which adds to its intrigue for me. If I studied a dialect, I would study Levantine I think. I do hope to learn some of it someday

Hi Diaa,

I am studying the Levantine dialect, particularly the Palestinian dialect, and I'm trying to get a feel both for مدني وفلاحي. I'd love to study Arabic with you. I am an American living near Jerusalem. Salamat,

Daniel
