Hi, people who are non-native to English! :)
Is it considered wrong in your language to ask a name of something as "How is this called?" ? In my language, Japanese, by the way, we ask both "How is this called?" and "What is this called?" interchangeably.
I believe 'what' is part of 'how:' also I believe numbers are part of amount as we Japanese use our language. Not forcing people to separate these makes things much easier.
