Teacher-Language learners: Is it a good idea to have two separate italki accounts?
Is it a good idea to have two separate italki accounts? One for teaching and one for your own personal language learning?
When I first signed up to the iTalki platform, I thought it might be a good idea to create a separate language learner and teacher account, and I am now pondering the wisdom of this. I have not got around to applying to become a professional teacher as yet. I use my language learning account more, and switching between the two accounts is a bit tiresome. So, I think it might be better to merge and/or delete my teacher account, I would then apply to become a teacher through my learner account. Does this make sense?
And, does it seem like the best course of action to avoid logging in and out of two accounts.
I have more friends, contacts and messages in my learner account, so this is the main reason to delete the teacher account.
Thanks in advance for responses.
