Have you ever made bread, and what was the result?
I've just tried. The result is not so bad. My bread is delicious, and only its appearance is not like in the supermarket.

For me I am not good at making bread because the Iraqi bread is a little bit hard. But I am good at making 🥧 pies, cakes 🧁.
I once made croissants 🥐.

I make my own bread almost everyday. I'll make Arabic bread (خبز العربي) which is pretty much just flat bread and sometimes I'll also make samoon (صمون) which is a special bread from Iraq. Very tasty stuff 😋

Yes I did twice three years ago. I was so excited when I prepared ingredients and proceeded to make the first loaf of bread. The finished product was beautiful. Its color was perfect and smelled so good. It just had a small problem which is it was too hard, like a stone. Of course It couldn’t be eaten. I tried for the second time and the result didn’t change. So I quit. Until now I haven’t figured out which step was wrong.

I have. My conclusion is that the exact quality and proportion of ingredients is important as is how you knead the dough, how long you let it rise (covered), how you knock it back and let it rise again. Also, how long you bake and at what temperature. It is a purely manual skill that improves with practice.
