Buongiorno a tutti, è da un sacco di tempo che non effettuo l'accesso.
Sto aiutando mio figlio a fare i compiti e ci siamo imbattuti in questa frase (da completare con la corretta forma del verbo to wear): Matt is wearing trainers. La domanda è: si può scrivere anche Matt's wearing trainers oppure no?

E' corretto, ma per scrivere forse e' meglio di usare la versione "Matt is wearing trainers".
"Matt's wearing trainers" sembra megio per una conversazione, per parlare.

Sì, si può scrivere.
Però eviterei di farlo nei compiti in quanto può essere confuso con il genitivo sassone (ad esempio Matt's trainers)
