Speaking as a student, I think you will fund that just about all teachers get five-star reviews ... it's awkward for the student to do otherwise. For that reason, I typically look for a teacher who has kept the same student/s over many lessons.

Once you have completed a lesson, the student is sent a notification to confirm whether the lesson took place. They can also give you up to 5 stars for the lesson and write a review in the box under the stars. If they don't scroll down they might not see the review box.

They only have 3 days to do this, but it happens each time they have a lesson, so hopefully will have many opportunities to write reviews for you.

As other have said, when the student confirms the class, he or she will also have the option to leave feedback. Feedback is the same as a review here on Italki.
