I'm up to 95,000 words on the novel I'm writing. What projects have you been working on?
I started my novel on May 21st. I have loved writing stories since 1996. This is my 30th story in the last 10 years. Writing stories and or poems are a great way to express ones feelings. I hope to make it up to 120,000 words by the time it's completed.

I'm working on my second album for my solo project Urkaft, while also considering making some merch (T-shirts mainly).

Another project (if you can call it that) is moving to South Korea with my girl friend.

I write love stories.

I also do journaling. It's very therapeutic. I vent in there.

Ah, right. I know that some people like writing under a deadline because it keeps them motivated/disciplined, but for others, it's pressure. What genre, if it's no secret, do you like to write in?

@Natalia
You don't have to submit anything for NaNoWriMo, and even if you do, it will just verify your word count automatically, there are no judges or anything like that. The goal isn't to get some points or awards (there aren't any), it is to get stuff written, so ultimately the only reward is the knowledge that you have been productive this months and outputted a lot. So there's no point in cheating since ultimately, it's something you do for yourself.

You could choose a story that you haven't published anywhere and pretend you are writing it)
If the thing suggested by Sunny was about submitting a story in parts)

Thank you Sunny! I've never done NaNo. Though I could probably succeed with writing 50,000 words in a month. Pretty sure I have before. But it's just the fact that Nano has a strict deadline that you must finish by a specific date, I don't think I could handle that pressure. Sometimes things happen where I do not feel up to writing or not in the mood to write.
