Are the 6 official UN languages truly official??

So the official 6 languages of the United Nations, in alphabetical order, are:

Arabic    Chinese    English    French    Russian    Spanish

Do you agree with these 6 languages being good representations of the main languages of today's world? What is your opinion on these officially selected for the UN? Should there more languages added to this, or taken away, or even replaced?

I am very interested to find out your opinion. ^_^

I would add Portuguese, because of Brazil, Portugal, and all the little island countries, plus the ones in Africa.
