the differences in Chinese language? hello everyone :)
I just want to ask, what is the difference between Cantonese and Mandarin ? (or is it the same?)
I heard from my friend that different region speak different kind of dialect (like.. In mainland China, the dialect is different from Taiwan).

Hi~
There are quite a lot  of dialects in China, Cantonese is just the most famous among those.
Just like...
In korea ,most people in Seoul speak standard Korean. But people in Daegu offen speak dialect.
In Germany, most people in Hanover speak Hochdeutsch. But in other region there are various of Dialekte.
Language is always fun!~

China is a large country,nearly every chinese nationaliy have their own language,but,be a country ,must have a  official language,it is "Mandarin".And Cantonese is a ancient languages,still useing in some areas,we called that dialect.
