The basic word order of Indonesian is "Subject, Verb, Object" (SVO) However, Many Indonesian will speak in a passive/ objective voice making use of the "Object, Verb, Subject" (OVS) word order. This OVS Word  order in Indonesian will often permit the omission of the subject and/ or Object and can benefit the speaker/ writer in :

#  adding a sense politeness and respect to a statment or question

    Subject & Object: Bisa di bantu

    Literal English : Can + helped

    Idiomatic English : Can + I help you

But if you say : "Ada yang bisa saya bantu" = This mean You Will Help someone to do something.

                      "Ada yang saya bisa bantu" the word of "Saya Bisa bantu" = this mean You Can help                        someone in your activity.

What can I help you? :

1. Ada yang bisa saya bantu? <em>(Is there anything that I can help)</em>

2. Apa yang saya bisa bantu? <em>(What can I help)</em>

ini sepeti grammar dalam bahasa inggris " <em>can</em> I help you?"

yang dalam bahasa indonesia " ada yang <em>bisa</em> saya bantu?"

dimana can = bisa = auxiliary dalam kalimat tanya tersebut.
